Quilts for Operation Embrace -Victims of Terror

12.12.12

TIME TO START A NEW PROJECT.
QUILTS FOR OPERATION EMBRACE
VICTIMS OF TERROR.

My new project is...Quilts for Operation Embrace for assisting Victims of Terror in Israel.

I am starting to collect and make quilts for people of all ages in order to give them to victims of terror.

Aviva Tessler the CEO of the amazing fundraising project will be our emissary and I will pass on all the quilts to her and her amazing band of special friends who will distribute them accordingly.

Besides making quilts we hope to raise funds to help cover the basic costs of making and completing the quilts, as we will be receiving many unfinished quilts from around the world. Batting and fleece, thread and fabric will need to be purchased in order to complete the quilts.
All donations can be made through their website just specify for the project "Quilts" even though it is not mentioned in their page as it is a new side project initiated by me Terry Mowszowski recently.

If you are a quilter and would like to help, please make some quick and very easy quilts in your own time and at your leisure, or, if you already have quilt tops you already made, don't like, don't want to complete, or just want to clear out your workspace from unwanted fabrics in your collection please feel free to pas them along and we will be happy to complete the quilt and give it to someone special. send them to either myself in Israel address below or if you are in America, send them  to Operation Embrace  in Washington, (click on the link for more details(.
